Why Camp Here
Hells Crossing Campground is located in the Northern Cascade Range in the state of Washington. This 18 site campground offers single family sites from tent camping to back in RV camping and summertime temperatures reaching the 70s. The nearby Goat Creek Trail offers hiking at its best and a breathtaking view of Goat Peak can be seen from the campground. Fishing and swimming the American River offers great fun along this beautiful mountain stream.

Good to Know
The campground is located in Yakima County, approximately 49 miles east of Yakima, Washington. To get there take Highway 12 west to the junction with Highway 410. Travel 33 miles on Highway 410 to the campground entrance.

There are 2 sections in the campground, each with its’ own entrance; Sites 1-10 are in the Eastern section (just over the American River), while sites 11-18 are in the Western section.

We expect to have a host in the Lodgepole campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. Otherwise an attendant will be in the campground two to four times per day.

RV use rating is 1 out of 5

Site Description
There are 18 sites, including back in and pull through sites with parking spurs ranging from 20-60 feet long and six tent sites.  The interior campground roads and parking spurs are hard-packed but not paved. This campground is NOT recommended for RV use due to the tight turns and trees in close proximity to the road.
