| North Cascades Area Campgrounds: | Marble Creek | Mineral Park |
These two campgrounds are located at the base of the North Cascades National Park about 15 minutes outside of Marblemount the unofficial entry to the west end of the park. Head over the green bridge in Marblemount and you will be heading into some of the most beautiful countryside that Washington has to offer. Remember to take your camera because your memory won’t do the area justice. The campgrounds fit the area. They aren’t paved, but the sites are large and for the most part separated from one another. The river runs right along the border of both campgrounds. You will come to Marble Creek first, but Mineral Park is worth the extra five to ten minute drive if you are a larger group, because Mineral has several large sites. Both campgrounds though are worth the trip into the wilderness.
