Why Camp Here
The campground is located on the Mountain Loop Road about 10 miles east of the Verlot Public Service Center, on the South Fork of the Stillaguamish River where it joins with Marten Creek.  The campground is tight along the road on one side and the river on the other. The campground has an elevation of about 1,420 feet.

Good to Know
If the gates are locked, visit the host or attendant at Gold Basin as you head into to the campground. The host will have a gate key.

This group campground is having erosion problems and while normally, I would not recommend this site to tents due to the noise of the nearby road, there is not much room for more than about three RVs. I do not recommend this campground unless you are familiar with it and want to use it due to its proximity to the water or to use the nearby Marten Creek Trail.

There is NO WATER so bring your own supplies

RV use rating is 3 out of 5

The campground is normally hosted from the host site at Gold Basin from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Otherwise an attendant will be visiting the campground two to four times per day.

Site Description
Marten Creek is a small group site meant for groups of up to 25 persons, although that would be tight.
