WELCOME TO THE
SKI & RIDE SCHOOL!!

We are a small school with a friendly and personalized touch. Our instructors have been carefully selected for their outgoing personalities. They are genuinely happy to be your host at Hoodoo and to help you with your skiing and snowboarding needs. They have been trained to provide a quality lesson that guides you toward achieving your own individual goals, be they as difficult as learning to glide through the powder with grace and ease or as simple as just conquering the bunny slope without any fear.

Private Lessons

Lessons scheduled by appointment

Private lessons offer a more intense one-on-one session with your own personal coach. These lessons are high recommended for the more advanced skiers as well as those seeking to maximize the learning experience.

Group Lessons
(Ski & Snowboard)

Group lessons offer a more relaxed and supportive atmosphere. You share your time and lesson with other skiers at or near your own ability level. This group environment is especially nice for beginners and first time students but also serves well for anyone who does not need or want the more intense one on one coaching of a private lesson.

Children’s Lessons
(Ski & Snowboard)

We offer two distinct types of children’s lessons. For the younger set, ages 4 to 6 years old, we have our Mountain Cub program. This program is offered on weekends and holidays only. Because of physical limitations of smaller children it is offered for skiers only.

For older children, ages 7 to 12, we have our Juniors program. This program is offered for both skiers and riders. The supervised lunch option is offered on weekends and holidays only.

Nordic Ski School
Cross Country & Telemark

Our Nordic program offers a variety of lessons for anyone who does not want to lock their heel down to the ski. You know, the old expression: free your heel and free you mind.

Snowbike/Airboard Lessons
Lessons scheduled by appointment

The snowbikes and airboards offer an alternative choice either as a break from skiing and riding or as a completely separate mode of travel. Either way they are not difficult to learn – a quick 30min lesson will give you the basics and have you on your way.
