Why Camp Here
Moss Creek Campground offers excellent fishing. Elevation at 1400 feet offers a very cool summer-camping experience for small RVs and tent camping.
Good to Know
Moss Creek Campground is bordered on two sides by the Little White Salmon River in a thick forest of Douglas Fir, Hemlock, Cedar, true Fir, and Big Leaf Maples. It is a short drive from the Gorge Highway in Washington up the road toward Willard and then to Moss or Oklahoma Campground. Be careful near the fish hatchery to turn on Willard Road or you will miss the road north. The campgrounds are about a 90 minute drive from Portland or Vancouver.
We expect to have a host in the campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. Otherwise an attendant will be in the campground two to four times per day.
