Why Camp Here
Olallie Lake is one of several close together near Takhlakh Lake where our attendant is stationed. All of these lakes are relatively high altitude at 4,280 feet. This means it normally won’t open until mid June, at the earliest, to the fourth of July.
Good to Know
This Olallie Lake Campground is small with only five to eight sites and none of them can be reserved. Please do not mix this campground up with the campgrounds on Olallie Lake in the Mt. Hood Forest or the Olallie Campground in the Willamette Forest.
This small 17 acre lake is for electric motors or non-motorized boats only to fish for German Brown and Eastern Brook Trout. Hiking and biking is nearby.
We will not have a host in this campground but an attendant will be in the area from mid June through the end of September and in this campground two to four times per day.
