Why Camp Here
Located on Spring Creek just outside of the Mt. Adams Wilderness Area, the campground offers access to numerous trails.
Good to Know
The road getting there is somewhat tough and it would not be a bad idea to know the road first before you haul your RV and horse trailer up the gravel road. The campground consists of two loops. The old loop is best suited for pickup campers with small trailers. There is a newer loop that can accommodate larger rigs, but drive with caution.
Only stock use water is available, no potable water. The water is NOT for Human consumption
RV use rating is 2 out of 5
We will not have a host in this campground but an attendant will be in the area from mid June through the end of September and in this campground two to four times per day.
PLEASE, horse campgrounds are meant for those with horses, it can be dangerous to have people who are unfamiliar with horse camped nearby. Also horse campgrounds are limited and there are plenty of other campgrounds where those without horses can stay. Please be courteous.
Horse Campers may only use Certified Weed-Seed-Free Hay when you stay at any of our USFS Horse Campgrounds (Certified Weed-Seed-Free Hay has a unique color twine). For more information please call your local USFS Ranger station or click on the link here. Hay is available through Matt Cyrus at 541-771-4980 17430 Hwy 126 between Sisters and Redmond.
