Why Camp Here
This portion of the Suttle Lake area is popular with swimmers seeking to escape the hot weather of the high desert of Central Oregon. The large day use area, with 11 picnic tables and parking for 50 vehicles, helps make this area accessible to people interested in making Scout Lake their group campground or family meeting place. The large beach front is just 50 yards away from the parking lot.
Good to Know
There are 10 sites at this campground. Site #6 is a single family site, while 3, 4A, 4B, 5, 7, 8 are doubles. Sites 1, 2 and 9 are triples.
