Why Camp Here
Wyeth is the smallest campground in the Deschutes National Forest that is managed by Hoodoo. It is one of those spots that had been popular with the locals, so people kept going there until it got so that the area was suffering because of it, and the Forest Service decided to make it into an official campground instead of blocking it off. The site’s popularity stems from the easy access to the Deschutes River and the ability to fish easily from the banks here. The sites are large and isolated from one another. This is a perfect campground for a neighborhood overnight gathering or a family reunion without having to plan ahead to get a group site.

Good to Know
You don’t have to be a camper to use the site, but there is a $5 days use charged to help maintain the campground.

This is an non-hosted campground which means that it is watched over by an attendant from another campground who will visit from two to four times per day.

RV use rating is 3 out of 5
