Why Camp Here
Sheep Bridge might be best known for its huge sites that are great for a large family outing or someone with a large RV that wants to make sure there is plenty of room for his vehicle. There are a total of 23 sites that are popular, but the campground is rarely full and is a good one to go to if you are getting into the mountains late in the weekend at a busy time of the summer.
Good to Know
There is cell phone coverage here and it is close to a resort on South Twin Lake.
10 MPH speed limit is enforced for boating on Wickiup.
This is an non-hosted campground which means that it is watched over by an attendant from another campground who will visit from two to four times per day.
RV use rating is 4 out of 5
Site Description
Sites 1-3 are huge and have been made into group sites, but could be used as a medium group site each with parking for up to about five large RVs or more and up to 30 people. Each has isolation from others in the area. The other sites are smaller but still have plenty of room.
