Why Camp Here
The campground is rustic, so bring your own drinking water. However, it is an easy ride to get up near the Sisters wilderness Area and the lower area below the North Sister.

Good to Know
The campground is 11 miles west of Sisters off Highway 242.

PLEASE, horse campgrounds are meant for those with horses, it can be dangerous to have people who are unfamiliar with horse camped nearby. Also horse campgrounds are limited and there are plenty of other campgrounds where those without horses can stay. Please be courteous.

Whispering Pine is normally hosted by the Link Creek Attendant from around Memorial Day to Labor Day Weekends, otherwise an attendant will be in the campground each day to make sure things are clean.

Horse Campers may only use Certified Weed-Seed-Free Hay when you stay at any of our USFS Horse Campgrounds (Certified Weed-Seed-Free Hay has a unique color twine).

For more information please call your local USFS Ranger station or click on the link here. Hay is available through Matt Cyrus at 541-771-4980 17430 Hwy 126 between Sisters and Redmond.
