Why Camp Here
Indian Ford is conveniently located close to Black Butte Ranch and the town of Sisters. It, along with Cold Springs Campground (also near Sisters), is a popular campground for those who are visiting one of the many events that go on during the summer in Sisters. It is a great place to stay in your RV when visiting friends in Black Butte Ranch. These sites are normally used by those who are just passing through and you can almost always find a vacant site except maybe on the most crowded of Memorial Day weekends. If you are reaching the area late at night, this is the place to spend the first night since you can almost bet there will be a vacancy and it is easy to find. The area’s largest drawback is that it is located right next to the highway, but I see some of the same people here year after year, mostly because the sites are large, and it is an easy drive to nearby fun spots.
Good to Know
The campground is located on Indian Ford Creek.
There are bike trails and hiking trails leading out of the campground.
Water is not available
Normally the Link Creek host takes care of Indian Ford from Memorial Day Weekend through at least the Labor Day Weekend otherwise there will be an attendant who will be visiting the campground two to four times per day.
