Why Camp Here
West Cultus Boat In is a boat in only campground on the west side of Cultus Lake.
Good to Know
Campers will park their vehicles in the Cultus Lake parking lot. They can pay their fees to the Cultus Lake host or put the fee into the iron ranger at Cultus Lake identifying it for Cultus Cove. The host will then give them a parking permit for the parking lot. (Parking in the Cultus Campground gravel lot is free for campers, but the paved day use area needs a NW Forest Pass) Otherwise, a NW parking permit is needed for the boat ramp and parking area. Campers who already have an annual NW Pass still need to pay the camping fee but will not need an additional parking permit posted in the vehicle.
Motor boats for water skiing are allowed on Cultus Lake.
Be aware that in the early season mosquitoes have the run of the campground. The Hoodoo crew will go into clean in early July before the official opening. Before then you may encounter some trash due to the fact that Hoodoo does not maintain the site from October 1st and throughout the winter months.
An attendant from Cultus Lake will be visiting the campground each day. Campers need to pay in the iron ranger at Cultus Lake or to the host directly.
