Why Camp Here
Little Lava Lake Campground is close by Lava Lake, but the lake is smaller and sometimes referred to as Deschutes Pond. The lake is popular with fishermen and often the same campers come back year after year.

Good to Know
The area does have a boat ramp and with a day use fee for the ramp or day use area if you are not a camper at Little Lava Lake. The Lava Lake Resort next door to the campground is nice, but in transition with ownership, or at least so we have been told by the current owners. We do expect that it will stay open and be available for limited camper style groceries. They used to manage the campgrounds as well but no longer do, so please do not bother them with questions. All questions can be handled by our hosts, attendants, this webpage, or by calling Hoodoo at 541-338-7869.

10 MPH speed limit is enforced for boating on Little Lava.

Normally this will be a non hosted site with an attendant who be visiting the campground two to four times per day.

Site Description
There are several sites that are ideal for tents right on the water front. These sites may be reserved as a group for $50 or used individually for $14 if there are no reservations.

There is a small group area right next to the day use site with tent pads and picnic tables. The site may be reserved for $50 per night with up to 20 people and 6 vehicle including 2 RVs
