Why Camp Here
Cultus Lake is one of the most popular of the high Cascade Lakes because it is one of the few that allows high speed motorized water craft. In fact it was recently voted the second most popular campground in the area (after Crescent Lake) Most campers here are interested in using the water in some form or another. In addition there is a nice resort next door to the campground where you can take a break from making your own meals over the fire or purchase forgotten groceries. The people there are friendly and come highly recommended.

Good to Know
Most of the campsites are well shaded so this is a great place to cool off during the heat of the summer. While RV use is normal here, the sites are not very conducive to large luxury coaches. Most sites are recommended for 30 foot RVs or less. One of the reasons for this is because the roads are gravel and rutted, which is fine for tent campers, but not good for the large RVs. However, Cultus Lake Campground is one of the more popular high lake campgrounds, especially if you want a water-side site. You should try to plan your trips so that you arrive either early in the week or at the least before Friday evening. However, even if this campground is full, there are alternatives close by.

Motor boats for water skiing are allowed on Cultus Lake

We expect to have a host in the campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. Otherwise an attendant will be visiting the campground two to four times per day.
