Why Camp Here
All of the Metolius campgrounds are serene and campers like to come here to avoid the more plentiful rainfall that is on the of the west side of the Cascades. This area is a favorite for the campers who like to fly fish and the camper who just wants to relax with a book.
Good to Know
For those of you who miss the ability to take a shower, use the laundry or even need an RV dump these amenities are available for a fee at Hoodoo’s Camp Sherman RV and Motel, located next to the school as you enter Camp Sherman. Also an RV dump is available at the Hoodoo Lodge from 9AM to 4PM.
Host is in the Smiling River Campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
