Why Camp Here
Crescent Lake Campground was voted the best in the area by a Central Oregon poll and this popularity extends to our other campgrounds on the lake as well. Part of the popularity of this campground is its resort-type atmosphere – since it is located right next to the Crescent Lake Resort  campers have the advantage of a nearby bar-restaurant, a small grocery store, and boat rentals. In addition there is a good boat launch area and a scenic location.

Good to Know
About two miles off Highway 58 near the top of Willamette Pass, this campground is located on a small hill overlooking Crescent Lake.  The nearby Hoodoo Ski Resort is open in the summer for some activities and there is a small town with a grocery store and more at the turn off for the lake. This area is a typical Oregon summer recreation area featuring Waldo Lake, Gold Lake, Odell Lake and Crescent Lake. There is plenty of camping all around the lakes but this campground is one that is heavily used by boaters and family vacationers.

We have three yurts open to rent as well, both summer and winter. The yurts have a bunk bed with a double on the bottom and single on the top and a double fold out futon. It also has a table, chairs and a wood stove. Often there is some wood left to get a fire burning, but you can buy more wood if needed next door at the Crescent Lake Resort along with other provisions.  Bring your own bedding and eating essentials.

Motor boats for water skiing are allowed on Crescent Lake

We will have a host in the campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend or you will be able to get help from the resort next door at 541-433-2505.
