Why Camp Here
Contorta Point is ideal for two groups of up to 40 people or one group of up to 80 with up to 10 vehicles per group site. Each site is somewhat independent of the other, but it works well for one large group as well. Both sites are on Crescent Lake on the far mostly isolated side of the lake.
Good to Know
There is no water so be prepared. It is best to reserve the sites but if they are not reserved it is possible to use them on a first come first serve basis by talking to the Hoodoo attendant. You will still need to pay the group fee; so small, drop-in groups would be better served at Contorta Flat.
The campground does not have a host, but a Hoodoo attendant visits two to four times a day. For questions or key pickup call 541-338-7869 or stop at our Crescent Junction office at the RV park on Hwy 58.

Directions

From Highway 58 at the Crescent Lake Junction, follow Forest Service Road 60 around Crescent Lake for about 10 miles. Then travel one mile west on Forest Service Road 280, and proceed to the entrance to the campground.
