Cougar Crossing Campground

$10 per night.     $5 extra vehicle charge.

The campground is open year around.

     Cougar Crossing is especially popular due to its close proximity to the Terwilliger Hot Springs on Cougar Reservoir. The campground is located just off the road on the South Fork. The campsites are mostly sunny with some shade provided by Bigleaf Maples. The campsites are open on grassy areas. If you want peace and quiet this is not your best choice. Many of the locals camp here to party with one another. We do have quiet time rules but it is not always possible to enforce when many of the campsites are part of the party. Please be warned there are other campgrounds nearby that are nicer and quieter. However, if you are looking for a place to meet other hot springs enthusiasts, this is your place. Often the campground is full with music makers and liberated souls especially around early July when the Country Faire happens in Eugene.

      No water is available, but there is a new vault toilet.
