Campground Availability

OPENING INFORMATION Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie - All campgrounds in the MBS are now open.

Willamette - Waldo should open by late June with Shadow Bay opening in July, but remember mosquitoes rule the area in the early season. All other campground in the Willamette are open.

Deschutes - We will be trying to plow out all of Three Creeks soon. The Meadows area is now open. The rest of the area, as of June 22, was under about four to five feet of snow. We no longer believe it will be practical to open this area until as late as mid July. Ten years ago Three Creeks didn't melt out until Labor Day in September. This year will be sooner than that for sure.

 This page below is filled out from information gathered during holidays, busy weekends or times when the campgrounds are likely to be near full. This information is intended to be a help for nonreservation campers to determine where to camp in the upcoming weekend. Reservations normally need to be made at least a week ahead in Oregon and four days ahead in Washington for single sites, but most campgrounds also have last minute, first come - first served, sites as well. This page is intended to help you know where to go if you do not have a reservation. If no time is given, a report has not been filed and that normally means that there are plenty of sites left. This page will also give you an idea of how full the campground is for future weekends as well. Normally the information will be posted from information gathered mid afternoon on Thursdays or Fridays.
