 Windy Point Campground

$14/night for single sites, $7/night per extra vehicle. $5 day use fee per vehicle. Buses $1 per person.

Campground is open from 5/19/10 to 9/27/10. weather permitting

Reservations may be made for sites during the period from 5/20/10 to 9/11/10.

About 40% of the sites can not be reserved, these and any reservable sites that are not reserved are available on a first come first serve basis from the evenings of 5/20 through 9/27

Golden Age and Golden Access cards will receive a 50% discount for the legal holders of the cards. Discount cards do not apply to group campgrounds.

Windy Point Campground sits along the bank of the Tieton River. There are 14 sites, including back in sites with parking spurs ranging from 21-37 feet long.  The interior campground roads and parking spurs are hard packed but paved. There are 2 CXT toilets and a pressurized water system in the campground, the site is a popular parking and take-out site for river rafters.

This campground is located in Yakima County, approximately 24 miles east of Yakima, Washington. To get there, take Highway 12 west to the junction with Highway 410. Travel about 8 miles further on Highway 12 to the campground entrance.

We expect to have a host in the Hause Creek campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. Otherwise an attendant will be in the campground two to four times per day.
