not be reserved, these and any reservable sites that are not reserved
are available on a first come first serve basis from the evenings of
5/20 through 9/26

This campground is located in Yakima
County, approximately 40 miles east of Yakima, Washington. To get there, take
Highway 12 west to the junction with Highway 410. Travel 44 miles on Highway 410
to Bumping Lake Road (Forest Road 1800). Travel roughly six miles down Forest
Road 1800 to the campground entrance. Soda Spring Campground sits along
the bank of Bumping River. There are 22 back in and pull through sites with
parking spurs ranging from 28-45 feet long and two picnic shelter day use areas.
The day use picnic shelter parking area also serves as a trailhead to the
William O. Douglas Wilderness.
The interior campground roads and
parking spurs are hard-packed but not paved. There are 4 CXT toilets and a
pressurized water system in the campground.
We expect to
have a host in the Soda Springs campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
Otherwise an attendant will be in the campground two to four times per day.
