sites during the period from
5/27/10 to 9/11/10.
About 40% of the sites can
not be reserved, these and any reservable sites that are not reserved
are available on a first come first serve basis from the evenings of
5/20 through 9/26
Golden Age and Golden Access cards only will
receive a 50% discount in 2010.

This campground is located in Yakima
County, approximately 55 miles east of Yakima, Washington. To get there, take
Highway 12 west to the junction with Highway 410. Travel 23 miles on Highway 410
to the campground entrance.
Sawmill Flat Campground sits along the
bank of American River. There are 24 sites, including back in and pull through
sites with parking spurs ranging from 20-38 feet long, nine walk-in or tent
sites, and a picnic shelter day use site.
The interior campground roads and
parking spurs are paved. There are 3 vault toilets and one hand pump water
system in the campground.
We expect to
have a host in the Sawmill campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
Otherwise an attendant will be in the campground two to four times per day.
