Host is in the campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.

This is a very popular campground with the locals, and that is an indication of two things. The first is that when it is popular with a lot of people chances are that you will like it too, and secondly it is doubtful that you will be camping there alone very often during the season. Many go there because it located right on a reservoir with a good boat ramp and a nice swim area. If you are not a camper you will need a $5 day use fee for the swim area and/or the boat dock. If you are a camper and want to drive to the area rather than walk, get a day use pass for your vehicle from the host.  The campground is conveniently close to Oakridge in case you need any supplies for the longer stay. Packard Creek is one of the best reservoir campgrounds that we manage.  Also as you can see from the vehicle length this is a good RV campground and it has many nice flat tent sites.

There is a group area as well that could hold up to about 75 people. There is a field with plenty of space for tents, parking in front for RVs and cars and a group dining area. The group area is reserved through the NRRS at recreation.gov.

Packard Creek now has individual reservable sites as well as a group site. These sites are shown in red below and are reservable by clicking on the logo below.
