Patio is located at the gateway to a very beautiful area of the western Cascade Mountains. The Patio's 60 RV sites are placed on nine acres right on the McKenzie River just off Hwy 126 on the road that parallels the river near Harbick's Store. This is about one hour east of Eugene, just before the highway starts to loop up into the Cascades. It is also about 5 miles west of the Old McKenzie Hwy that is open only during the summer, and is about 2 miles west of the little town of McKenzie Bridge. On all fall, winter, and spring days there are normally sites available for even the last minute planner. Even during the summer the ample amount of spacious sites makes a last minute reservation probable. Of course the best sites always go to those who plan ahead. There are about 20 sites right near the McKenzie River, from there you can listen to and watch the river pass by. Most of the other sites that are a little further from the river, have carports and storage closets to accommodate those who would like to take advantage of our lower monthly and yearly rates. For those of you who are not familiar with the McKenzie Bridge area, it has a lot to offer all ages of outdoor enthusiasts. Tokatee Golf Course, long rated one of the best 25 public courses in the US is only about a mile from Patio. Discounted golf fees for our campers are normally available. The McKenzie River National Recreation Trail takes hikers and bikers through a small, beautiful section of the Willamette Forest. The trail's lower point begins 1.5 miles east of McKenzie Bridge and elevates up to the Old Santiam Wagon Road near Clear Lake (and Coldwater Cove Campground). The area between Clear Lake and Patio has a lot to offer those who love the out of doors, including the Tamolitch Valley where the McKenzie River vanishes underground for three miles and then reappears in the Tamolitch Pool. Several spectacular falls in the area are also a must see. THE PATIO CAN ACCOMMODATE GROUPS OF UP TO 60 OR MORE RVS Patio has 60 hookups with electricity, septic, and water. It also has a free RV dump for those spending the night, or it costs $8 for those just passing through. Nightly hookups cost between $25 for the upper sites and $30.50 (plus county and state taxes) for the premium sites or just $16 for the few nonhookup sites. Lower prices are available for RV club cardholders. In addition there are great prices available for groups of 4 or more RVs. Large groups will also have access to one or both of our accommodating clubhouses. Go to our main RV page to learn about extra discounts for groups of 10 or more or for trips to more than one Hoodoo RV park made in one year. To make a reservation you can either call or email the park directly or by calling or emailing the Hoodoo office. Patio RV Park 55636 McKenzie River Dr. Blue River, OR 97413
