Group site fee is $65 per night

Marten Creek is a small
group site meant for groups of up to 25 persons, although that would be tight. The campground is located on the Mountain Loop Road about 10 miles
east of the Verlot
Public Service Center, on the South
Fork of the Stillaguamish River where it joins with Marten Creek. The
campground is tight along the road on one side and the river on the other. There are
three tent
pads and three picnic tables plus two separate camping areas around two different firepits. To get in, visit the host or attendant at Gold Basin as you head out
to the campground. The host will have a gate key. The campground has an elevation
of about 1,420
feet. There is a CXT vault toilet, but no water so bring your own supplies. This
group campground is having erosion problems and while normally, I would not
recommend this site to tenters due to the noise of the nearby road, there is not much room for
more than about three RVs. I do not recommend this campground unless you are
familiar with it and want to use it due to its proximity to the water or to use
the nearby Marten Creek Trail.
