Fall River Campground appropriately is on Fall River just off Road 42 south of Bend between Hwy 97 and the Cascades Lake Highway in the mountains. It is a small local campground that is an excellent place for a family outing or someone who would like to drift on the river. You will often find a local fisherman along the banks of the water. The main draw here is the fact that there is almost always an empty site, the price is low, and you can usually find some isolation in this woody area. Be aware that there is no drinking water. This is not the place that an out-of-stater is likely to want to go to, because it is not very spectacular like some other campgrounds nearby, but that is all the more reason for the locals to use the spot. Many campers come back here year after year.

This is an non-hosted campground which means that it is watched over by an attendant from another campground who will visit from two to four times per day.
