Three Creeks Lake Campground is at the end of the trail. You can't go too far because the road ends in the campground. However, as you are going along, you do reach several points when you think that you must have gone too far. From there just keep going. The last part of the road is gravel and rough. The whole lake area is secluded, but popular when the weather allows it to be open. It is popular with fishermen and outdoor adventurers because of the easy access to the Wilderness Area and to those who just like to get away from it all. In the summer of 1999 the area couldn't open until Labor Day, but in 2001 we were able to open by Memorial Day. Check the opening and fees page on the web for updates.

No motor boats are allowed on Three Creeks Lake

Normally there is a host living in Three Creek Meadow from the opening date to early October, if not, there will be an attendant who will visit the area each day to make sure that the cleaning has been done and the fees paid.
