Little Fawn Campground may be reached by traveling just
past the Hosmer Lake Campgrounds on Road 4625 south of Elk Lake and Point
Campground. It is located on the south end of Elk Lake off the Cascade Lake
Highway 46. There is a beach in the large day use area along with a boat ramp.
There is a day use fee for non campers that can be paid at the campground. There
are 20 single sites that are all close to the water and a 11 site group area
where campers can each camp in their own sites, but share a common area in the
center of the group area. This group area is a favorite of scout troops and
church gatherings. It is also ideal for large family reunions. The CXT toilet is
located in the group area and at the day use area. There is a pump for drinking
water. There are four other Hoodoo managed campgrounds close by if this
campground is full when you come in.
10 MPH speed limit is enforced for
boating on Elk.
We expect to have a host in the nearby Mallard Marsh Campground and/or in
the Elk Lake Campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend.
Otherwise an attendant will be visiting the campground two to four times per
day.
