$14 for a single site and $7 per extra vehicle $5 day use fee for parking lot and boat ramp.

   Lava Lake Campground has been a popular one with campers for some time. The area has two boat ramps and lots of day use parking. Please be aware though that there is a day use fee to use the ramps or day use area if you are not a camper at Lava Lake. The lake is popular with fishermen and often the same campers come back year after year. The Lava Lake Resort next door to the campground is nice, but in transition with ownership, or at least so we have been told by the current owners. We do expect that it will stay open and be available for limited camper style groceries. They used to manage the campgrounds as well but no longer do, so please do not bother them with questions. All questions can be handled by our hosts, attendants, this webpage or by calling Hoodoo at 541-338-7869 or 541-822-3799. This campground has roads that will accommodate large RVs and trailers and most of the spurs have room for your boat trailer as well. There are five tent only sites as well right near the water.

10 MPH speed limit is enforced for boating on Lava.

   We expect to have a host in the campground from about Memorial Weekend to Labor Day Weekend. Otherwise an attendant will be visiting the campground two to four times per day.
