The beauty of this last
campground will hit you at the entry which is just as the river flows under the
bridge. Lower Bridge is well-shaded by towering Ponderosa Pines and Incense
Cedars. RV's can fit in most sites, but most of the sites are better suited to
tents.
There is one vault style toilet and a gravity fed water system. For
those of you who miss the ability to take a shower or use the laundry or even
need an RV dump these amenities are available for a fee at Hoodoo's
Black Butte
RV and Motel (aka. Camp Sherman RV Park). Black Butte RV Park is located next to
the school as you enter Camp Sherman. The host will be glad to help with
questions about the campgrounds as well. On crowded weekends he may have
information about which campgrounds still have sites available. Also an RV dump
is available at the Hoodoo Lodge from 9AM to 4PM.
This is normally an non-hosted
campground, but an attendant will visit two to four times per day.
