Site A costs $80 per night
midweek and $100 per night on the weekend (Friday and Saturday)
Sites B and C cost $100 midweek and $120 on the weekend nights.
The day
use building may be reserved for $50 per day. If the day use area is not
reserved it is available on a first come first serve basis for $50 by
contacting the host.
Starting in 2010 there will be another smaller
group site which includes two full hookup sites and room for about four
RVs or up to 8 smaller vehicles. Site D will cost $65 per night midweek and
$75 on the weekends.
There is a minimum stay of
two nights on the weekends or three nights on holiday weekends.

Simax might be our most popular group
campground and for good reason, it is one of the nicest campgrounds in the
Deschutes. It has large group
sites and a covered 24' by 40' meeting area that can be reserved along with your
site. Site A is a little less desirable since it is not directly on the water
and is a little bit smaller. Site A also only has four picnic tables and the others have
five. The parking for Site A does not have RV parking in front of the site, but
there is extra parking close by. RV users are better off reserving B or C. There
is a large bathroom with showers. The toilets are flush and the water system is
pressurized. There is good cell phone coverage along with paved roads and spurs.
The campground has a nice beach with easy water access. It is about five minutes
for the Crescent Lake Resort and the same from
Crescent Lake Junction. You can
get help if needed from either the resort or Crescent Junction RV on Hwy 58
where the keys are held for groups. Starting in 2010 the sites that used to be
held for the hosts are now going to be used for a group site as well including
two full hookup RV sites.
Motor boats for water skiing are
allowed on Crescent Lake
