What a Deal!
Everyone likes a great deal, but shouldn't the deals go to those that deserve them? Hoodoo can't lower the price for everyone because we would never take in enough to cover our costs, but if you are willing to work a little bit for them and take advantage of what we offer, then they are out there for you. Our midweek deals start in January.
Miller Monday: Thanks to this year's partnership with the Warren Miller people, we will be showing Warren Miller movies through most of the Mondays in our lodge on the big screen TV in front of the fireplace. This year the Miller people approached us, asking if we would be willing to partner with them. In the past they had been partnering with other ski areas in Eugene and Corvallis, but this year they aggressively pursued us asking if we would partner with them. We will give you more details about this as the season gets closer to opening day. Great deals will be available at the Miller Movie showing in Eugene and Corvallis.
Tightwad Tuesday: This continues to be our most popular deal. While the other deals may come and go, this is our fifth year of TT and we hope to have many more to come. Bring your skis or boards and a semifit body to ride on them and you pay $19 for any age and any time during the day. The offer starts after New Years on Tuesday January 8, and ends after Tuesday March 17. (It is possible that we will have a Tightwad Week in April but that depends upon the snow.)
Weeping Wednesday: Sorry to make you all sad, but weep away, we are still closed on nonholiday Wednesdays. This deal is for our overworked, underpaid employees. Starts Wednesday January 10, but we will be open during Spring Vacation.
Two for One Thursday: This one starts January 3 and ends after season is over. While this deal may be new to you, it actually has been going on for the super informed for the last four years. The Two for One Certificate allows you to buy one full priced adult ticket and get another ticket for the same day for free. This year however, we have expanded it some and we are taking it public through the art of advertising. You can pick up a Two for One Certificate at several participating (Click HERE FOR A LIST OF DEALERS) Shell dealers when you purchase a minimum amount of gas.
Finally Friday: Its so nice to have it be Friday, that full price is more than a good deal. Besides on most Fridays if you pay $3 more, you can ski for five more hours right up to 9 PM.
The ANYCARD: While the above deals might be better for you on Monday through Thursday, the Anycard still stands out as our best offer ever. The Anycard is good for five tickets, anyday, anytime, and for anybody. They are totally transferable with no black out dates. That means that you or anyone else can use them during Peak Pricing periods when the above deals don't work and for all day when we have night skiing. The 2007-8 price is $165 or $33 per ticket. These are best used by adults on the weekends or during the holidays. However, they are not available for purchase at Hoodoo itself unless you have made previous arrangements well ahead of time. See the Anycard Page for details on purchase. Remember though the card is only good for the current season. They can not be held over after the season ends March 31 (or possibly in April if the snow and interest lasts). You will be able to buy this card at a discount at the October ski swaps or at the Portland Ski Show. Stop at our booth and save yourself some money.
Others: We have many other ways of saving money with other pages that explain how they work. Group pricing is available if your group buys about 20 or more lift tickets. If you are interested in lessons we have combo deals for multiple days or a combination offer for the lesson, rentals and lift tickets. Go to the Snowsports School for those. For those who come out often we have Season Passes (cheapest in our spring sale) or the Club Hoodoo. Our offers perhaps vary as much as your interests do. Please look through our website. We have other deals going, for instance, how about staying at Camp Sherman RV and Motel in Camp Sherman, only 20 minutes from Hoodoo, and get a midweek room and two lift tickets for $100 or for $125 on the weekends?
