America the Beautiful Pass

  •  DON'T BE FOOLED! It is important to note that these passes (except Golden Age and Access) do not apply to concessionaire operated campgrounds such as those operated by Hoodoo. These include almost all Forest Service Campgrounds. They are meant to be used mostly in National Parks where fairly large entry fees are charged.

  • The America the Beautiful senior and handicapped Passes, formerly known as the Golden Age or Golden Access Passes, are still accepted by Hoodoo for a 50% discount for camping and day use by seniors and adaptive campers, until further notice.

  • The pass is valid for the holder of the pass only. Reservations made by the holder must be used by the holder as well, or the campers will be charged the full price.

  • Like the Golden Passes, the ATB Pass is good for camping or an extra vehicle but not both. You can't be the main vehicle and the extra vehicle at the same time. However, if someone else in your party has a ATB Pass it may be used.

  • The pass is sold by the Federal Government and more information is available on their website.

  • The passes are non refundable and non transferable! You may not use a relatives pass. To do so would risk confiscation of the pass.

  • Don't be fooled, this pass is not worth purchasing by non seniors for Forest Service campgrounds since they are rarely accepted there. However, the senior and access passes are worthwhile for day use activities and camping, but must be used honestly.

  • The ATB pass is not valid for group sites, either overnight or day use.

Thank you, we hope you enjoy your stay!
